Garden State Hearing and Balance Center is a multi-clinic Audiology practice throughout New Jersey. They host several hearing instrument demo events that are very important to their marketing strategy, as it draws in many new patients with their quick device turn around times. They are also very important public education events, informing patients on the health and mental benefits of quality hearing care. The goal with this set of marketing materials was to express a sense of urgency, professionalism, and health education. There was a variety of different collateral used, including in direct mail, digital ads, facebook ads, and flyers.

Key Elements

Garden State Hearing and Balance Center wanted to use their mailers and flyers to highlight the importance of hearing instruments on brain health. The graphic to the right was created to visualize the statistic that hearing loss is linked to a 50% higher rate of mental decline in older adults. Presenting this front and center on the pieces was key to conveying the urgency of the events.

We included images of neurons as a decorative element, further reinforcing the brain health goal of the event.

A mixture of print flyers, direct mail, and digital ads were intended to not only target the individuals using the hearing devices, but also their concerned family and loved ones. The design was meant to be eye-catching and convey the serious nature of the content, without being too alarmist.
